“Put the Cart before the Horse” 

This backward phrase came after exhausting all their efforts to launch a brick-and-mortar cafe in the Silom financial district of Bangkok and being turned down after three years of planning.

“Put the cart before the horse”  spoke to our visionary owners that you don’t need a storefront you need to be mobile and build a reputation to make a difference, think outside the box!  This is where the lasso truck was birthed and the concept of the “cart” (truck) began to create this fun American Western nostalgic food truck with creative cowboy merch and western food and drinks it needed purpose! This purpose became clear with its pioneering spirit to make a difference in the underground world of human trafficking.  Can a little food truck penetrate this world? Yes, it can!

With the proceeds Lasso can help victims have better lives, teaching them valuable trades, giving them career opportunities, and improving their English skills. Creating fun kids programs, hiring and training former victims in the coffee business.  This “cart” is moving fast as it provides amazing snacks and drinks, and job opportunities, is available for parties and events, and has established its reputation in the night markets around Bangkok.
